For expats and internationals

Living abroad can look exciting. It can also feel lonely.

If you function well on the outside but feel ungrounded, stuck, or disconnected on the inside, I will help you find stability and clarity in the in-between – the space between who you were and who you are becoming.

When “a new country” becomes an inner question

Moving abroad changes more than your address. It changes your nervous system, your identity, your sense of safety and belonging. Sometimes it is subtle. Sometimes it hits all at once.

  • You feel rootless or ungrounded, even if life is objectively “fine”.
  • You miss home, but you are not sure what “home” even means anymore.
  • Social life feels effortful. Small talk drains you. You feel alone in a crowd.
  • You are tired of constantly adapting – language, culture, systems, expectations.
  • Your old ways of coping (pushing through, willpower) do not work like they used to.
  • You are in a transition – career, relationships, purpose – and everything feels in-between.

Find home within – without forcing yourself to be “strong”

I work holistically and somatically. That means we do not only talk about what you “should” do. We also pay attention to what is happening in your body, emotions, and nervous system – because that is where stability starts.

What you can gain
  • More inner stability, even when the outside is uncertain.
  • Clarity about what is really going on (and what is just old fear).
  • A calmer nervous system and more capacity for decisions.
  • A sense of belonging that does not depend on external approval.
  • Small steps you can actually do – not a perfect plan.
My style

Respectful, supportive, and practical. I will not give you life advice or tell you what to do. You are the expert on your life. I help you see options, notice patterns, and move forward with clarity in a way that is sustainable for you.

How we work together

Step 1 (always)

Free 20-minute intro call. We get to know each other, clarify your topic, and align expectations. You can ask questions and feel whether this is the right space for you.

Next steps (if you want)

After the intro call, you can choose what fits best: a deeper 90-minute Mapping and Orientation session, or a short process of 4 sessions over 6-8 weeks to create sustainable change step by step.

If you are unsure, we stay with the first step. This is not about rushing.

About me

I am Eliska, a holistic coach specializing in somatic coaching and somatic meditations. I support people who feel stuck or overwhelmed in a life transition – and who know “this cannot continue like this”, but do not yet know what the next chapter should be.

My work integrates coaching, mindfulness elements, and nervous system regulation. The goal is not a quick fix. The goal is sustainable change that feels true to you.

Client experiences

“Eliska won me over with her humanity, empathy, warm presence, and the ability to ask exactly the questions that lead to deeper insight. Our work with the inner critic was especially valuable – I still draw from it today.”

Michaela Z., Social Media Specialist (freelance)

“It was my first experience with coaching and I am glad it was with Eliska. She listens and guides you to find the answers you are looking for in yourself. I appreciated the safe, friendly atmosphere where I felt relaxed, as if we had known each other for years.”

Filip B., CEO

FAQ

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching does not replace psychotherapy or medical care. We focus more on the present and the future: what you want, what is getting in the way, and what realistic steps you can take. If you are dealing with trauma or significant mental health symptoms, professional therapy is the right next step.

How does a session look like?

Sessions are online. We talk, I ask a lot of questions, and we map your situation. When it fits, we can include gentle somatic elements (simple body-based orientation, short grounding practices). Nothing esoteric, nothing forced.

How many sessions do I need?

It depends. Some people need a few sessions for clarity and a first shift. Others benefit from a short process over several weeks. We can decide after the intro call based on your topic and your pace.

Do you give advice and tell me what to do?

No. I do not “fix” you and I do not prescribe a path. You are the expert on your life. My role is to hold a safe process, help you see patterns, and support you in finding your own answers and steps.

I am not sure this is for me. Can I still book the intro call?

Yes. That is exactly what the intro call is for. It is free and non-binding. You can ask questions and see whether you feel comfortable with my approach.

Book a free 20-minute intro call

We will clarify what is going on, what you need most right now, and what a realistic next step could be.
