Coaching for me is not only about performance, but also about knowing yourself. I believe that in order to make changes sustainably, we need first of all to get in touch with ourselves, choose our own way and give ourselves time. And - in an ideal case - we manage to focus more on the journey than the outcome.
I enjoy the richness of life, all that it offers us. If we want to see it. That what is great, but also not so great, because it's these times that usually give us the impuls and strength to change something or the opportunity to grow. I believe a lot is about a point of view. And that is something we have in our hands.
I have always been inspired by people, their personalities, their stories. Our different way of thinking, expressing ourselves, experiencing and interpreting the world around us, all what we enjoy and what we breathe for, all of that is and always have been fascinating to me. Don't expect a one-size-fits-all approach with me. The uniqueness of people and their topics is exactly what I enjoy the most about my work. Almost as much as when when my clients achieve something or realize something new. It fills me with purpose to help people see possibilities where they themselves can no longer can see them.
I try to incorporate mindfulness into my life on a daily basis. It helps me to be more mindful of what's going on around me as well as within me. From my nature, I'm a rather rational, intellectually driven person and I've mostly followed the motto "if I don't know what to do, I'll study some more about it". But gradually, I found my way to my inner world as well. Or did my inner world find me? Even as a coach, I guide my clients to pay attention to themselves - to what they are doing and why, how they are feeling and what is going on in their head.
My approach is based on professionalism, trust and empathy. I too have experienced situations when I felt completely lost, not knowing which way to go, not having the energy or support of those around me. I don't claim to know what it's like for you, because that I never can. But I respect everyone, who takes a step in the direction s/he wants to go. And most of all, I believe that since we've been given this gift of a chance to live our life, it's better to create it ourselves and cultivate our mindset in a way that helps us feel good.
I graduated from two universities, worked as a lawyer and a project manager in Germany and in the Czech Republic. Currently, I live with my family in Prague, Czech Republic.
I have a daughter and I love books, time with family and friends, dancing, a trip to the nature now and then and my alone time.
