I help people live more of what they want

I am a coach and I will support you when you want to change something, find your direction, take the first step and keep going - at your own pace.

If you want to find out if coaching is the right step for you, schedule a free introductory meeting.

Why coaching?

Do you feel overwhelmed, dissatisfied, bumping into the same situations over and over again? Do you want to change something but don't know how? Do you want to start something but have no direction?

My work begins where you stop seeing the possibilities.

I believe that to a big extent we create our life ourselves. And it's much better if we do it consciously. It's empowering to focus on what's in our hands, even if we can't control everything.

Change is hard for many of us. Our system often outright resists it. It can help to have a guide and support. Coaching is a great place to start.

I listen, I ask questions and I create an environment where you can think differently about your topic and find your solutions step by step.

I don't push any view or path, I help you discover yours

Coaching is a solution-focused form of guidance. More than looking to the past, we look to the future, to what you want and how you can get there. During our sessions, you will set a goal and determine the steps to get there. I'll ask questions a lot to help you discover possibilities and see things in new ways. I will guide you to discover your patterns of thought and behavior that unconsciously contribute to what is happening in your life. But ultimately, you find all answers and solutions for yourself. I will not give you any advice. I assume that you are the biggest expert on your topic and your life and you know best what is good for you.

Coaching helps us to achieve more and achieve what we really want in life

A holistic approach: mind, emotions and body

I am a somatic coach. Classical coaching works mostly with thinking and behavior. As a somatic coach, I also involve the aspect of emotions and body in the process and use them as an additional source of information. That way I look at the client in a more holistic way. Thanks to that you can achieve more lasting and sustainable changes. Technically, I am first and foremost a "normal" coach - during our sessions we will mostly talk and I'll ask a lot of questions. But where it can help, I also include special techniques that use for example movement in space, objects around us or creative techniques.

I hold space and offer support

My approach is very respecting and supporting. I create a space in which change is possible, in which you can focus solely on your and your topic and in which you have my full faith that you are doing your best and that you can do more than you might think right now. I will help you look at things differently - from a distance, from a different perspective or in context - as well as shine a light where you are not yet looking. I will support you in overcoming what is holding you back.

Coaching teaches a certain mindset - to take responsibility for our lives and what we want, to think about things differently, to notice, to reflect. It leads us to self-awareness and seeing how our automatisms and patterns, our inner world affect how we function in the world around us.

What I can help you with

Even if you plan your day as well as you can, your life is more like a hamster wheen of responsibilities you can't jump out of instead of an oasis of peace? Are you starting a new project, but you hold yourself back by the feelings that you don't have what it takes? Do you repeatedly find yourself in situations where you just can't say no? Would you like a clearer direction in life but can't find it? In all these situations coaching can help.

What is important?
1) that YOU want it differently, have motivation and you are ready to deal with it
2) that there is a possibility that it can change in the future. Even if you can't see how just yet.

In the beginning, clients often don't even know where lies the rub. That's where coaching can help sort your head and clarify what you want.

And how can coaching transform also your life?

  • change habits that take their toll on your health and life satisfaction and exchange them for more supporting ones
  • shift the unproductive thought patters or mindset that holds you back
  • set a healthy work-life balance
  • manage the stress better
  • organise yourself and your time better
  • sort your head and get more clarity in the overwhelming situations
  • clarify your life vision or career direction
  • discover your own strengths
  • find your way back to yourself and move ahead on your self-development journey

What my clients say

I benefit from our work with the Inner Critic till this day

Eliška won me over with her kindness, empathy and ability to ask exactly those questions that lead to deeper awareness. Although she was still in training when she was my coach, her approach was so professional and natural that I would never have guessed that. Each session she worked with me with great respect and understanding, while gently guiding me to new points of view. Our work with the Inner Critic was of great value to me and I still benefit from it till this day.

My experience of coaching helps me to further my personal growth and self-reflection

It was my first experience with coaching and I am glad that Eliska was my coach. We had several sessions together and gradually went through several professional and personal areas. I definitely found the coaching process beneficial and inspiring. Eliska has a way of listening and guiding a person to find the answers they are looking for within themselves. She guided me through the whole process with great patience. I appreciated her ability to create a comfortable and friendly environment in which I felt relaxed, as if we had known each other for years. My experience of coaching helps me to further my personal growth and self-reflection. If you are looking for a coach to help you to get ahead, I definitely recommend Eliska as a great choice.

I suddenly knew exactly what the first steps needed to be

Eliska came into my life at a stage when I was nervously and uncomfortably shifting in my seat, unsure of what direction to take. I was facing a career change and felt lost in the uncertainty, not knowing which side of things to grasp in order to move in a direction that made sense. As I talked with Eliska, things were settling in my head and I suddenly knew exactly what the first steps needed to be. I embarked on that journey and today I am happily settled in my new job. It was all about overcoming that initial pressure and fears - and I managed to do just that thanks to Eliska's well-chosen words and questions.

Sometimes we don't even know we need a coach and she can help us to get ahead

I really liked the combination of professional approach and friendly atmosphere during our sessions. I set myself a clear goal and after a few sessions and working on myself, I was very pleased to say that I had achieved what I wanted. In my case it was small steps leading to big changes. But I myself didn't know how to start. After talking it through with Eliska and with the help of the right questions everything became clearer and I started to overcome the fear to start. Sometimes we don't even know we need a coach and she can help us to get ahead. If you are hesitant to make a change or don't know where to start, that's exactly where Eliska can help. I can't but recommend her.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a coaching session work?

The coaching session takes place either online or in the centre of Prague. The session lasts 60 minutes. Spacing between sessions is most often 1-2 weeks. I always tailor the coaching process to each client and their topic. So what we cover in each meeting and how quickly we progress will vary from client to client. We talk for most of the meetings and I use questions to guide you through the coaching process. I listen a lot and create space for you to think differently about your topic. I will also want to know from you what direction you want to go in and what would be the best use of our time for you. When appropriate, I incorporate various coaching techniques that can expand awareness and offer new information and insights. I pride myself on ensuring that the relationship between you and me is based on trust and respect, I never force you into anything.

How many sessions do I need?

It depends on each individual case, as I never work with clients according to a template. For more lasting change, I recommend at least 6 sessions.I go through the GROW model with each client - starting with goal setting, then exploring the reality, the possibilities, and ending with a plan for specific action steps. How long it takes to get it all done though depends on multiple factors. Some people set a goal in a few meetings and don't need a coach any further, and we work with someone over a longer period of time and continue until the client moves where they want to go.There may be one-off meetings, but in this case it is more of a one-off intervention using elements of coaching, not coaching per se.It is useful, for example, when you want to reflect on something or sort out thoughts in your head on a particular topic, or prepare for a particular situation, meeting, etc.I always leave it up to you whether you want to continue coaching, I do not work in the form of subscription coaching packages.

Online or live?

It depends on you. I offer both options and each has specifics that are an advantage for some and the opposite for others. When meeting live, it's nice to be able to incorporate more techniques (e.g. moving in space). We can meet every Tuesday in the centre of Prague, which may not suit everyone.Online coaching is done via Google video call and offers more time options. You can enjoy it from your favourite armchair with a cup of your favourite tea.Even in the online environment, I can incorporate some techniques that promote gaining new perspectives, so you won't miss that part either. But if you are coming strictly for somatic coaching and its specifics, I recommend meeting in person.

What can I expect from coaching?

At the beginning of the coaching session, you will set a goal that you want to achieve. Sometimes finding a suitable goal is the biggest success and then coaching is not needed. Sometimes the goal is clearer and we focus on the possibilities to get there, overcoming obstacles or mental barriers. During our meetings, we then work to move you towards that goal and gradually work through the GROW coaching model (Exploring Goal, Reality, Possibilities, and Concrete Steps). At the end of the coaching session, we evaluate the process - whether you have moved where you wanted to go, or what next steps are needed. As we work together, I keep an eye on the process and whether we're moving in the right direction, but I also give a lot of responsibility to you - for how you set your goal, which of the options you want to explore, or what experiment you want to try.At the end of each meeting, you can plan to try something in between - to do something, not to do something, or to notice something. It's always up to you, it's not an assignment from me. But it's good to remember that to be successful, the coaching process requires - like any (internal) change - commitment, energy and time on your part. And that the real work happens between meetings.

Who is coaching suitable for?

I work with clients who are over 18 years old. I do not diagnose or treat the mentally ill, that is the domain of other professionals. Coaching supports clients in their personal and professional development, always working only with the healthy part of the client. But otherwise, coaching is suitable for anyone who has the energy and desire to address their issue. It is no longer the case that only athletes or managers use coaching. As a coach, I help clients, for example, to change behaviors or work with mindsets and thinking patterns that affect their daily functioning, relationships and communication.I support clients in making big life decisions or finding their life or work vision. These are all topics that can touch each of us.

I'm intrigued, but not sure if it's right for me.

If coaching is calling you, schedule an initial no-obligation meeting with me. We'll talk about what you'd like to address and how coaching can help you do that. The meeting lasts about 20 minutes in video call form, is free and completely no obligation. This is not a coaching session, we just talk about what you are coming up with and what you expect. If it makes sense to you and you feel like you want to work with me, we will arrange a coaching session.

Ready to take the first step?

Let's embark on a journey towards what you want in life as well as towards knowing yourself better. And who knows, maybe you find that the journey itself can be the destination.
